The Process
Qualified IDENTIFiD clients register the biometrics of their members’ (employees, customers, citizens, guest workers, etc.) utilizing IDENTIFiD’s ICS. Because of the universal nature of the service, a member will register only once to be protected (in-person or online) at all institutions, businesses and agencies using the IDENTIFiD service.
Members’ identities can be verified at any transaction point equipped with a biometric scanning device, such as an agency’s security checkpoint, a bank’s teller window, a retailer’s check-out, or a consumer’s home computer log-in.
Identity confirmation occurs when the biometrics submitted by scan at the transaction point match the biometrics on file with IDENTIFiD. It takes less than 2 seconds for the match to be confirmed or denied by our network and servers.
