Just as our application-independent approach allows us to work with any software or service on the front end, our biometric neutrality allows for virtually any biometric engine or reader to “plug in” and be on the network.

Until now the biometric community has been handicapped by a lack of standards, and this has kept the market from adopting the technology on a large scale. For the end users or solutions providers, each purchasing decision was an “all or nothing” commitment to both a single vendor’s technology and its compatible hardware.

IDENTIFiD is not a biometrics company. We are not a hardware company either. This biometric hardware & software neutrality creates something vital the biometric industry has lacked: an open environment and the ability to network these disparate systems for channel sales providers and end users. This means providers and users will have less fear of obsolescence and wrong or incompatible technologies when making purchasing decisions. They can offer and use different and competing biometric engines and hardware readers in the marketplace.
